Bio

Austin K. Wingerson is an Associate Attorney at Dossey & Jones, PLLC with a broad transactional and corporate practice, specializing in mergers & acquisitions and complex business transactions. Austin also has experience representing clients in the full range of business transactions and corporate matters including entity formation and corporate governance, commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions and leasing, and employment and independent contractor relationships. 

Before joining Dossey & Jones, Austin gained valuable experience in both litigation and transactional matters as an associate attorney at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC. In addition to handling a wide variety of commercial litigation cases, Austin’s hybrid practice included drafting and negotiating complex loan agreements, advising on corporate governance, and advising clients in commercial real estate transactions.

Austin attended law school at South Texas College of Law Houston on a Dean’s Merit, Full Academic Scholarship where he served as a member and Assistant Managing Editor of the South Texas Law Review before earning his Juris Doctor and graduating with summa cum laude honors. 

Austin also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Business from Texas A&M University. His academic background and professional experience have equipped him with a robust skill set in legal research, client consultation, and transactional practice. He is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas.
